The first performance of Yaksha happenend last night following the 3 day consecration event for the Linga Bhairavi temple. Set behind the picturesque backdrop of the Dhyanalinga temple and the Velliangiri Mountains, the troupe set the stage for the next 12 days of performances in a most celestial way.

Aditi Mangaldas is a renowned Kathak danseuse who works with the traditional repertoire of Kathak, yet infuses it with a modern sensibility. Regarded as one of the leading performers in both the traditional and contemporary idiom, she has performed to critical acclaim in many major cities across the world. Besides directing solo items, she has also choreographed a number of group ensembles that have been an arresting blend of traditional and contemporary styles.
Aditi Mangaldas is the artistic director and principal dancer of the Drishtikon Dance Foundation, Delhi.
